The CCBE at the CoE HELP Annual Network Conference

As a longstanding partner of the Council of Europe’s HELP Programme, the CCBE, represented by its Senior Legal Advisor, Indra Bule, was pleased to participate at the HELP Annual Network Conference, held in Strasbourg on 2–3 July 2026.

The conference opened with a keynote address by Mattias Guyomar, President of the European Court of Human Rights, who highlighted the vital role of the HELP Programme in promoting human rights education, disseminating the Court’s case-law, and raising awareness of the European Convention on Human Rights and its core values.

During the session “Digital training for digital justice”, Indra Bule joined representatives from the European Commission, the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA) and the European Judicial Training Network (EJTN) to discuss the importance of digital judicial training. She highlighted the strong synergies between the work of the CCBE and the HELP Programme and encouraged the HELP network to make use of the CCBE’s guides and recommendations, particularly when developing new HELP courses.

The CCBE looks forward to the continued development of its longstanding partnership with the HELP Programme and to working together on future initiatives that support judicial training of lawyers across Europe.
