On 3 November 2026, the CCBE was delighted to visit the International Criminal Court in The Hague. The visit reaffirmed the CCBE’s support for the Court and its vital role in upholding international justice and the rule of law.
CCBE President Roman Završek, Vice-President Alex Tallon, Secretary-General Simone Cuomo and Head of Public Affairs Peter Mc Namee met ICC First Vice-President Judge Rosario Salvatore Aitala and Judge Beti Hohler.
The visit provided an important opportunity to exchange views and strengthen dialogue between the European legal profession and the ICC at a crucial time for international justice.
