European Private Law Committee
Responds to proposals emanating from the European institutions in civil and commercial matters in relation to issues regarding in particular connecting factors (such as domicile and nationality), the jurisdiction of the courts, the recognition and enforcement of judgments, choice of law, and contract law. It also follows the developments taking place at an international level, such as The Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
