Specialist committees and working groups made up of experts appointed by the national delegations discuss and develop policy papers on a wide range of areas affecting the European legal profession.
European Convention Working Group
works on the issue of a future European Convention on the Profession of Lawyer. The recommendation adopted by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe in January 2018, requested the Council of Europe Committee of Ministers to draft and adopt such a Convention. The working group works in close cooperation with the Council of Europe.
